This year’s June was characterized by an expanded trip to the BIO International Convention in San Diego, CA and our transatlantic partner lab Cenetron in Austin, Texas.

From June 19-22 the BIO convention returned to the San Diego convention center after 3 years.
The annual event drew 16,123 biotech and pharma leaders, as well as service providers from around the globe and included over 1800 exhibitors. MLM had its own presentation at the BIO.NRW booth within the German Pavilion. Being located very central in the exhibition area we experienced quite good traffic at our booth and in combination with the prescheduled partnering meetings had very promising contacts during the show. Besides interest in our analytical services the MLM safeguard box® as well as the capabilities of our new kit-building entity draw the most attention.

While being in the region we took the opportunity to visit our longtime partners Synteract HCR in Carlsbad and ProSciento in Chula Vista to exchange thoughts on further collaboration.

After having a successful week in San Diego we stopped in Austin to visit our partner lab Cenetron. The strategic alliance between the two labs was formed in 2015 to provide pharmaceutical and CRO clients with integrated central laboratory services for global clinical trials. Since then the collaboration has been a great success and both partners are looking forward to even intensify it in the future.
