Participating in these sector associations in the interest of our clients

MLM has joined the Federal Association of Medicinal Contract Research Associations, BVMA,  www.bvma.de, and Germany’s association of the biotech industry, BIO Deutschland, www.biodeutschland.org.

By joining these two important associations MLM aims to contribute to a proper representation of laboratory analyses in clinical trials with respect to regulatory requirements and the maintenance of high quality standards on a national and international level.

BIO Deutschland is an association of more than 300 companies and intends to support the development of the German biotech industry. BIO Deutschland has established a variety of working groups. MLM is represented by its CEO, Dr. Stephan Wnendt, in the working group ‘regulatory affairs’.

The BVMA is representing 39 CROs and aims to promote the application of Good Clinical Practice in all aspects of clinical development. In addition, the BVMA is a stakeholder in the discussion of new legislations and guidelines on the national and international level. Regular symposia and workshops performed by the BVMA are offered as training options for members and non-members. Becoming a member of the BVMA depends on successful auditing by an independent auditor in order to guarentee that members fulfill highest quality standards. MLM has been audited with respect to its compliance with the new GCLP-guideline of the EMA (EMA/INS/GCP/532137/2010).
