The MLM event calendar is always very packed and there are certainly some events that are a must, but we are always trying to bring in some variation and get to know new people and formats.

This year our CEO Prof. Stephan Wnendt and our Director Business Development Dr. Katja Neuer, started off to San Francisco to attend Biotech Showcase^TM from January 13^th-15^th. Traditionally known as an investor conference, it also offers great opportunities to engage with global life science decision makers in general. Over 3700 attendees came together to interact in 8.000 officially scheduled meetings in the PartneringOne system, in the exhibition area or in numerous workshops, presentations and panel discussions. The agenda covered scientifically driven topics like new approaches for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory disease; politically focused panel discussions, e.g. the impact of the upcoming elections in the US on the biopharma industry and financial trends.

Being an exhibitor for the first time, MLM’s representatives were very content with the conference Their small tabletop booth was highly frequented very good first contacts were made. The overall impression was great in all aspects. A fabulous start to another yet packed with lots of interesting conferences, trade shows and events!
